Ford KA Handbrake light problem.

Hi everyone,

Got a 02 plate Ka...

Seems to have developed a fault that when i go uphill or over a rough road the handbrake light on the dash flickers on and off and sometimes stays on for 10 seconds or so.

I presume its a look sensor or something? Any ideas where i can look or what else it could be?

Sounds like the brake fluid level is a bit low, if not it could be a faulty level sensor in the reservoir.
