The X type will not be sold from March 2008 in the US, the last US models will leave the plant in December when the plant switches over to the revised model. Jaguar believe the shortfall of X type sales in the US will be made up by the new XF as they push Jaguar back upmarket in America, where only the V8's will be sold in the XF.
The UK and Europe will get the revised X with the major changes :-

2.2 diesel gets auto box
New front grill and bumper
New rear bumper

Interior no major changes I can see from press pictures

I don't see the revised car winning many new sales a lukewarm makeover similiar to the XJ earlier this year

I really quite like it. Having owned a 3.0ltr Sport, I now have a soft spot for the model. It is a really cracking car. This facelift should have come in 2004/05, along with the auto diesel, but that seems to be Jaguar story! If they got rid of the side door bumper strips like they did with the final facelift of the old XK, it would make the facelift a lot fresher.

I believe the end is 2010. So what will fill the void. A Jag 4x4 to be made from a Freelander floor plan. Seems too large a factory to just build one LR model?
