...They're good. Not too difficult to fit, about 40 mins per corner. Took it out for a drive and it's a noticeable improvement, the car corners flatter and feels more secure and planted. I went home and softened the suspension by 3 clicks, and it is now even better, with the standard links it would have been to soft at the back. All in all well pleased with them. smile

I was looking at those on their website over the weekend.

There's a lot of bits they have that I reckon I'll have on my shopping list this winter.

Are the links a better quality rose joint ( I have not looked.), therefore move easier than the rusty ones you took off, so you would need stiffer settings for the same rate? I replaced my rear drop links and it made the whole car rattle less, as when they are worn it makes the whole car sound like a right shed! ( Mine actually popped out!).

There will be some more Cerbera bits coming along as well. Some of the stuff I have done on the LS1 Cerbera I am putting into production.

The front drop links replace the rubber bushes with rose joints which means that the ARB actually applies corrective pressure rather than simply compress the rubber and then come in. It is this that improves the whole ride.

On the rear, there is a second rose joint instead of the nasty rubber bush so that the link is articulated
and can move freely. The end result is that the whole drop link is not bent which usually results in the drop link breaking or snapping.

The overall result is that the ARBs work correctly which often means that the shocks/springs can be softened as they are often set harder to compensate for the ARB's short coming. Less roll, better turn in and a more compliant ride.

Just be aware that you don't necessarily need a set for the rear if you have a newer Cerb - Im guessing Lightweight and on, as the rears are already rose jointed. Older Cerbs have rubber bushes all round.

Not quite true. Later cerbs with the rear ARB in the wheel arch have a drop link that has a single rose joint and a nasty rubber bush at the other end. Often described as a rose jointed link but it isn't as the rubber bush still has to be compressed to transmit the ARB force. This rubber bush does cause problems as it doesn't articulate and it is not unknown for the link to snap as a result.

I replace it with another rose joint that fully articulates the link.

Glad you got the stuff. We generally send the links out special delivery... post office permitting smile

Yes, mine has a rubber bush at the top of the rear drop link and they're also corroded at the joint. Relatively cheap upgrade that may improve the body roll when cornering, although i'll probably be back to tinkering with my Gaz Golds again, as they've proven to be very difficult to get a good balance between compliance and damping.

Interesting stuff. As I'm having my suspension done all round next week, I may well order some rears and be done with it all.
I was pleased with the post, especially as I'm still waiting on my Sprint nearly 2 weeks late!

I have Gaz Golds too. After fitting the links I softened the back by 3 clicks. I've done a fair bit of tinkering with mine, I have them 14 clicks rear and 16 front. (I think thats what they are, if you want me to check I'll gg and do it)

Interesting stuff, all the info i have suggests the rear shocks should be set set firmer, got mine set at 18 clicks rear, 14 clicks front, but i'll give anything a try!!

Is it possible to adjust the rose links in situ or are they fixed?

They are fixed. They should be fitted with the same length on each side to remove any pre-load. For the majority of users this is fine. I have done some versions with in-situ adjustment. A little bit more expensive but can be done.

If you need such a set, PM me.

Fitted my front and rear drop links yesterday, not too difficult, although one of the bolts was not long enough for my front roll-bar connection, could only use one of the washers and i really needed to use both to get the drop link vertical.

Anyway, it's not easy to quantify these things, but i have to say the car felt much more stable on the fast country roads i frequent in Deeside, so i'm happy biggrin

When I had my suspension changed I also specified these to be added at the same time. I'd say they were well worth it
