I'm hovering over putting a deposit down on a Porsche Turblo (Lord please forgive me I no not what I do hehe) or the Aston and neither are really inspiring me enough to go ahead! frown

Any help would be much apprieciated!

I had serious thoughts about an aston about six months back. The problem was that the car although georgeous from the outside, is a bit of a let down on the inside, and furthermore felt like a tank when driving.

Its sad but the best experience of an Aston is watching someone else drive it. frown

The Cheap alternative to left hand drive conversion is to get into the other side of the car. If you park next to a wall normally, you may need to reverse in instead.hehe

£POA isn't your friend though.
Go on, scratch that itch....!

And the fact you've just dropped the price of your Cerb to 18K.

Even though its a bad time of year to sell a Cerb, its a shame that you haven't had your arm bitten off yet.

Have you had many contacts/test pilots or serious interested yet.

Have you thought of ebay'ing it to get at a wider audience?

Frazer, the easiest way to drive a RHD car in China is to register it in both Hong Kong and China. You have to use two sets of number plates, but you can get your car in that way.

Also, everyone has to have a Chinese driving license (can also be obtained in HK).

Planning on moving to China within the next few years. The only problem is that the only RHD vehicles allowed to be imported into China are those that are used by embassy staff, (not me then).

So I will be paying attention to this thread. ears
Foreign diplomats are notoriously dodgy (allegedly.) Just chuck one of them a few quid to import you a car.

Not very helpful but I have heard that there is a TVR dealer in Germany that has had some success with converting a Cerbera !

TVR Switzerland converted four Cerberas a few years back , including the yellow one pictured . I nearly swapped it for my LHD Chimaera 5L when it was for sale through TVR France , still not sure I did the right thing not going through with the swap ! The laws for registering LHD conversions out here in Dubai is a bit hazy , better safe than sorry I guess. Not sure if TVR Switzerland is still working but the conversion was pretty well done . Good luck and let me know if you find anyone that will do the work , might still be interested .
