Has anyone had paint stone chips successfully treated?
As in, not perfect, but a hell of a lot better than i or you could do with a very small brush and the right paint?

I wasn't overly impressed with what they achieved on this car last week.

I once went to see about a small fibre glass bubble repair, they wanted far too much so bought a small air brush spray kit and did it myself, these guys work around local areas so one lot could be good, the others not so, I would see who has used your local guys.

Oh well, it's done now, it's not too bad, but expensive for what i got.

I had some bits done on the front of my Lex by a Chipsaway franchise. Not impressed to say the least!

To be fair the guy did say that matching stone chips was quite difficult, however, the chipsaway advertising blurb gives the impression that the vast majority of repairs will be 'invisible' IMO

Is that on your Jag? If so the local (to me) chipsaway guy I spoke to said he wouldnt do the nose and bonnet of my Jag and advised me to get a proper sprayer to do it. Their stuff dosent set and dry quickly enough apparently.

Yes it was on the Jag.
It's ok really, but yes, the blurb is deceiving.
