Traffic Master?

Have they started to change the colour of the traffic master cameras on the motorways?I have seen some that look like these sort of cameras but are green instead of blue.They seem to be in pairs above the two inside lanes.
Also on the M1 A1 link in west Yorks I have seen what look like 2 video cameras on a slim mast,one of the cameras points down the carriageway into oncoming traffic and the other faces across the road.There are several of these sets along the same stretch of the M1.Any idaes anyone?

Similar sort of question what are the green poles at the side of the road with a solar panel on top and sensors in the tarmac ? speed detectors ? and if they are how well would they stand up to a tyre
