Right so there are only 2 online brokers in the UK who offer coverage of Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore and Aus as well as the main markets.

These are TD Waterhouse, and Natwest Stockbrokers.

-TD Waterhouse customer services NEVER answer the phone. I've been trying for days.

-NatWest do answer the phone but only beween 9-5pm.

There must be some others, surely? How can these organisations be so crap?

They come across as crap becasue they are discount, online brokers and so the business model does not support a good support overlay or wide product range. In order to be profitable they have to cater for the simplest majority, which is online UK trading.

I'm afraid that you have 2 choices, both of which involve using a more specialist operation:

1- A more expensive physical broker.
2- A more advanced CFD house.

Feel free to PM me if you'd like to investigate the CFD route as it will certainly give you complete exposure to all those markets, just not the right choice for long term holdings.
