Jaguar Approved warranty Administration - 0870 7527065.
If your 3 year manufacture warranty is about to run out, the cost to renew for a year is £907.93. This will be the only time you will offered the chance to renew the FULL Jaguar Warranty.
If next year, you choose to renew, you will be offered a 'Complete Warranty' package or something like that and this year that cost us £1250ish & change, as Jaguar are subbing out the warranty policies to a 3rd party.

that sounds quite a lot (although not over market odds)... so question is: is it worth it? If you have to make over £900 of repairs in that 12 months then you are quids in, so how likely is that? And then there is the risk of them weedling out of a claim for some erroneous reason.

I think that the later engines are quite tough, with little or no issues with timing chains and tensioners.Think that it is worth having, and it's also a plus when selling if private.

The Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club warranty scheme works out substantially cheaper (~ half the price) than Jaguar's: www.jec.org.uk/jec-new/warranty.php
