Engineering stuff?
Discussion
Just after a bit of guidance really.
I've shut down the engineering side of our business for several reasons, mainly due to clients being reluctant to pay for work done - but we've got loads of stuff here such as nuts/bolts and various bits of machinery etc.
Can anyone recommend, apart from placing individual items on ebay, a company who might be interested in buying the lot?

There are a few machinery auction speacialists. Check out www.mti-onlin.com
I receive their mag which lists hundreds of machines for sale.
Also I think there is still an exchange & mart for machine (machine mart possibly)

Right, sorry for the delay but here's some of the stuff:
Reed Universal Pipe Cutter - complete with video!
Oxford Oil Immersed Electric Arc Welding Set
Makita Bench Pipe Cutter
Asada 3 Piset Pipe Threader
Oxy/Acet cutting gear
Block & Tackle
Lifting Chains & Slings
100s of assorted rawbolts
Vices & stands
I'm just not sure how to go about selling it all and need to clear three containers of stuff.

Make me a decent offer because I really haven't a clue of the value of it all.
It's based in Widnes Cheshire if anyone wants a look.
I'll get photos early next week if anyone wants pictures. Just email me david@lythgoe-estates.com.
Oh and apparently we've got thousands of assorted nuts and bolts, many of which are stainless.

Just give those people at the link I posted a call. They might not be interested, because theres not much there. I'd have thought they would be interested in the welding stuff, depending on the vice types, maybe those too. I think bench vices would be good for them, but pipe vices, perhaps not.Reed Universal Pipe Cutter - complete with video!

In general, the pipe fitting kit is probably not their thing, but you'll probably have some luck shifting that in the local free advertiser. Do you have Friday Ad?
If the people that I posted are interested, they'll probably come and have a look, and give you a price for the lot.
With stuff like the pipe threader the main value is in the dies. If they're in good condition, they'll be worth something even second hand. The motor, and the rest of the tool will probably not have much value.
