Ford Ka... noisy clock?!

There's a funny noise coming from my ka... sounds like a scratching sort of noise. Couldn't work out for ages what it was, had my head in the engine bay trying to locate it and everything!

Should have really thought about the fact that it seemed to happen every 60 seconds or so

Turns out when my clock turns on a minute it makes this horrible clockwork mechanical noise... can't hear it when you're driving but its really irritating when you're stationary!

Question is are all Ka clock's noisy like this, or is it something I can get replaced?

When mine is stationary you can hear it click every minute...

its not really a tick though... its a mechanical whirring sort of thing that lasts about half a second itself!!

as far as i can reamber since about 2 my step dad has had lots and lots of diffrent fords and i could all ways hear it. All theas years later i just thort that it was me. glad its not.
