I would, but I'm promised to me Julie for the weekend. Ironically, she lives not too far from the 'Fest site, but I suspect I'd still have to pay £25 to get in even if I only popped across for a couple of hours*. Then of course I wouldn't be able to drink, which rather would defeat the object of going (not being a drag racing fan).



So I'll probably have to content myself with being blown off by a succession of TVRs on the M1 on Friday night...

Howsumever, I'm still up for a jar at some point.... I think perhaps we'll give the Tarpole or whatever it's called a wide berth: with service like last time, we could all die of thirst. How's about somewhere more Darlingtony, Durhamish, that kind of thing (since the whole of Teesside is deserting us... )

If you are looking for a pub near Darlo, there is one on the A67 after Teeside airport called the Farmers something or other, has beer garden and largeish car park. Failing that, name your time and place !!
