Well, I didn't do this myself, but a friend fitted a new alternator to my Cerbera and the whole job took about 20 mins, so just doing the belt should be super quick!
Good luck!
Respect! I thought changing the alternator was a tough job, removal of fuel rail etc. You didn't measure the elapsed time on the dash clock, did you?
Good luck!

Oh yes, with the aircon in place it's not a simple task at all. Took me two weekends to replace my alternator, but most of that was cleaning under the alternator and around the engine bay once I'd got it all into pieces.
Reckon I could do one in a couple of hours now.
Straight belt change ought to take no longer than an hour.

Managed to do it without removing the fuel rail!
Elapsed time not measured on the clock - no
The speed of change over was probably so speedy because I am a *very* capable assistant!

Also, how long will the cerb run with a fully loaded battery & no alternator?
Thanks in advance, Pete.........
Wouldn't recommend it. My big fuse finally gave in and the car cut out when I was doing about 50mph on a country road. No fun with no power assistance on the steering or break pedal. In fact quite scary! Thanks in advance, Pete.........
