Met a very nice bloke at TMS on Friday whilst picking up my Tamora having had it's gearbox fixed back in Blackpool. We got chatting, as you do, and his exhaust had fallen off, so they were welding it back on ... that's nothing though, just the tip of the iceburg. His year old Tuscan S was on it's third engine ! Some achievement. He wasn't bothered though, it only takes two weeks to put the new one in and what else goes that quick for fifty grand.

He must have some very influential contacts at the factory to get it turned around that quick!

Whatever next... Oh I know driving a log go to change gear and the gearstick comes of the gearbox in your hand...

Oh yes it does... Happened to me today after it's engine rebuild.

Best not to drive a log I reckon.

The gear stick is only held in by a small grub screw, Walldonway add an extra one on the opposite side during PDI to stop this happening

Since you had just had a rebuild, I would guess they had not tightened up the grub screw properly after refitting then engine - not a big deal, just careless lack of attention - again
