I am off there with a friend.

to be honest ive never even heard of Abingdon Airfield

is it good ?

To be honest its just like any air field track day.....

Very flat and predictable, Hig speed corners and some tight sections.

You xan get to know your car in a very controlled environment.

I personally prefer the Nurgburgring.... but for £109 you can really go wrong!

Abingdon - it's at Dalton Barracks, on the Western side of the A34 from Abingdon. There's a few videos on YouTube of laps around it to give you an idea. Not a bad track, not the most exciting but good enough, cheap and they do a day there a month.

Hi Mark! that would be great if you could bring it just incase mine doesn't work! I bought one from merlin last time i was at combe, it got me on track (somehow!?) at Colerne last month, but i didn't think it worked as well as yours did?!

Was a really good day, a little cold, but fantastic.

Some nice cars too.

The Lotus Elan was a real sweet car, and was imaculate... If i was the owner i would have never taken it on the track.

But i suppose if you have it you should use it for what it is made for.
