PDA Sat Nav in New Zealand
Discussion
Anyone know anything about Sat Nav in New Zealand?
In the UK I use TomTom PDA on my mobile with a bluetooth receiver, I know I couldn't do this in Australia as they don't do a PDA map for Oz. I know TomTom don't cover NZ at all, but anyone have any ideas what are the best PDA systems to go for there?
And cheapish, as it's more gadget value than any real need to have it

I tried running Satnav on my HP PDA in Australia, what a joke! It used a subsciption system by Sensis, which downloads the map as you go. It was totally useless, plus it cost me a fortune in downloads in the month I tried it.
My PDA phone will be going in the bin shortly, basically useless at everything, trying to be all things it does none of them well. Crap phone, useless Satnav, and the PDA just didn't work as a substitute for a notebook.

I know what you mean. I've got a bit of a brick in phone terms, old Nokia 6630, which is good. I did have the newer version, I think it's 6680, which is much as you described.
Not raelly a PDA anyway, but good for running sat nav on. I installed Skype on it the other day, whcih seems to have buggered things up a bit...
