Yeah but I have my car booked for paint protection film a few days after, just wondered if it would be okay still to do it.

F**k it. Looked through the classified and not one elise appeared to have paint protection.

What are these days like, have you done one before? With 20 people is there a long time waiting around?

I'm, going too but haven't been before so dont know if there is loose stones on the surface.
I'm told its only one car out at a time but so that may help with the chipping issue.

Be careful, my inner wheel arches just behind the wheels front and rear and any other bits that stick out were peppered so badly that the paint was completely removed in places. Take a big roll of gaffer tape and cover every bit that looks vulnerable with several layers.
Only good thing is you wont have to worry about the front of the car if you are going out one at a time.

Anyone fancy doing a convoy up there. I'm based in Hatfield.

I would normally be up for convoying it up there but am going back home to parents house (Houghton nr Huntingdon) on sat night after the rugger.

McLovin, just for future reference I live in a place called Brookmans park in between Hatfield and Potters Bar. We'll have to get together some time.

Jonny.

It was just a taster of what they do. There was so many stones on that airfield though, I opted out of most the stuff because I was worried about the paintwork so I think I couldn't enjoy as much. There was a bloke there was an old mini with a honda engine in it, was amazing never seen that before. Also there was a 15 year old there driving well in suburu. I want to get a cheap rwd banger and go again ideally. One of the blokes couldn't even make a simple gear change and unstuck my damn carpet from its fixings as the car pulled him back. But still was a great laugh, I would recommend it because you can have so much fun and it lasts for ages.

I can second that^. Was a great day. Very relaxed atmosphere and met some great people. Stone weren't too much of an issue and didn't give me any probs.
