I keep saying that the press have been reporting a pack of lies and the mindless lemmings have believed it.
From today's press conference in Brazil:

Don't forget, trolls hate being ignored.
Hamilton and Alonso have both been told exactly what to say both by McLaren and the FIA. If after the race there is an issue then the contracts board can give Alonso the opportunity to leave the team, LH keeps his dignity and his World Championship and Mclaren will not have to pay Alonso to leave!

There's no angle to be had here.
Aloneso has a problem being beating by a rookie and has translated his own failings into the form of a perceived lack of equality from McLaren. FA has an unjust problem with McLaren, but the problem is with himself.
He doesn't have a problem with LH, per se. LH doesn't have a problem with FA, other than finding it hard not to agree with the rest of the non-spanish speaking world that FA has been/being stupid beyond what we thought any reigning champ was capable.
But in any build-up to a finale they're going to say what they've been told to say, just like any boss does to any subordinate.

I agree 5.0%. I've said it before and i'll say it again, Hamilton and Alonso are the bestest of buddies, the press just make up all the conflict between them, the poor little sods. It's also a made up invention by the press that Hamilton is in F1, he hasn't even driven an F1 car before, he works in ASDA in Stevenage. I guess there will always be more to this than we will ever know.
However, I would lay a fair wager LH had far more time on the McMerc simulator than FA was led to believe.
And given the longevity of LH relationship with mcLaren I dont even consider him to be a 'rookie' in the strictest sense of the term.
