04 vxr brakes

Ok just had a full set of Ap brakes fitted thanks to Roger and crew at the big fish, so on offer is a full set of 04 vxr brakes. As I’m not a brake expert I’m not to shure if you can use the disks and pads again but they are in very good order, pads have 7mm of meat left f/r, the car has done 17000 miles. Anyone interested PM me for more info or a decent cash offer.

on the subject of VXR brakes - anyone with them fitted on their 04 cv8 had any issues with loss of performance on very wet days? On way back from BTCC during the week I had to head north through some really heavy rain on the motorway - surface water etc and the few times I had to dab the brake pedal it was as if I had no brakes initially, then they'd catch and slow me down. Wonder if this is down to having to remove the guards to be able to fit the disks and calipers? Anyone else noticed this? BTW they are fine in the dry and I'm using the uprated pads from Monkfish.
