Herts & Beds meet S Mimms for run in to Baldock 21st Oct
Discussion
I'm assuming theres a meet on this Sunday and the weather looks good so anyone fancy meeting at S Mimms at 1030 for a run in to the meet at Baldock.I'm slightly crock at the moment with a bad back but will hopefully be fit for it WEATHER permitting !! Should the latter be the case perhaps a theme of roof off (of course) and bizarre hats ought to apply..... ?
Simon ( "I Spy" ).. a wig would qualify !!! ).

Hi Spy,
Not deported..... yet ! just keeping a low profile matey and would have loved to have made Duxford, alas circumstances scuppered that. Be nice to catch up on Sunday.
Nick, look forward to seing you there...( Emmas grinning now) how will I recognise you ?
John, I'm open to all suggestions just so long as we achieve the objective ie leave together, stay in convoy and arrive together preferably with my driving licence in tact !!. Will have my daughter as co-pilot so there'll be no heroics from moi
!!!!

Ah, now technically a co-pilot does the actual controlling whilst the Captain sits back and reads a book
!!!!
Hey, at least she has clean driving licence! The leaving together bit did get confused back at the knebworth stint... Would suggest the route depends upon numbers and who fancies what at the time. Roads are also pretty slippy at moment which does add to the fun

ps Nick... didnt mean to make it sound like it was confined to soft-tops so your usual wig n Cerby would be fine
although I know its a bit of a two-way haul for ya !
although I know its a bit of a two-way haul for ya !
Surely you don't really think that would stop me? In fact.......
Looking forward to see you and 'M'!
Pack your ear defenders - the Cerbera had a blocked cat and I needed a quick fix.............

Walkern - A507 - Baldock... Road from Watton to Walkern is a blinder, but not for the faint hearted ;-)
Nice roads. Especially in the wet

Going to the meet, but won't be able to meet you at S. Mimms mainly cos' I'll be in the Cerbera and I'm damned if I'm taking the roof off to qualify! Happy to wear a wig though

I'm just a chicken really
