what sat nav to get

i had a tom tom 510 and720 both good but after several months went a wall
need 1 for euro driving want to pay 200-300
what do you say

I have a garmin Nuvi 310 delux and works great in France - you also get 3 months free subscription to the French traffic info

In fact I have a saab 9-3 convertable with there sat nav and have ended up with the garmin stuck to the window ....
