Were XJ6's available in black as the X300 I've been looking a them on autotrader for a while and you only tend to see dark blue or BRG.

I've had my black XJ6 Sport (X300) for over 11 years. It's a November 94 supplied car, so it's quite an early X300.

Black with cream leather is THE combination to have. lick

I can post some pictures later if you want.

It's a bitch to keep clean.
Mine was the first black one I saw, and dealer said they weren't too common.

My 96 XJR is one of the last X300's, black & cream too. Yep, not nice to keep clean, but worth it.

Early X300s were solid black, the later ones Mica Anthracite.

It's possible that black may have only been available for Sport & R models, can't say I've ever seen a regular XJ6 in black.

I very nearly bought a standard X300 3.2 in black with cream about a year ago - except the seller changed his mind after we'd agreed a price and I'd paid for a year's insurance.

Have only seen 1 other in black for sale locally since then - but it was a standard car too, so they do exist.

Strange isn't it I'd have thought they'd be more popular.

I had a 1995 manual X300 XJR for 6 wonderful years. I sold it on earlier this year and miss it often. She was, indeed, bombproof and not a costly car to run at all. Don't bother with main dealers, find a good indie to take care of her and she will repay you in buckets!
