Hi

I seem to get through fuel pretty damn quick as expected but I was wondering what others got from their cars?

Are the fuel tanks the same size for tam/t350/sag?

When Mine gets to two bars on the gauge its a pretty rapid trip to the garage....is this normal?

This does go up and down depending on hill and dale or hilly areas though!

Mpg for a tam?

Depending on use I can get around 250-300 ish miles on a full tank which reads 52 litres.

I get more miles using Super unleaded and obviously more on a long run rather than start / stop.

If you wanted the Tam for fuel economy, you may have the wrong car wink

Fill it up, driving it, fill it up again, it's a vicious circle but so much fun, who cares. biggrin

I guess it would help if I didn't blip the throttle so much!!

I get so much pops and bangs on the overun that I swear the fuel is draining out of the exhaust!

Marvellous fun though!

Seems to always take about 44/45lt (10gal) to fill up to 52lt

I make it:
20 mpg is about 4.5 mpl, so 225 miles from 50 litres,
30 mpg is about 6.5 mpl, so 325 miles

Pick your most likely, depending on driving style.

I always start looking at indicated 15 litres, in case the guage is inaccurate...

London to Inverness & back managed 26 mpg.

No idea how big the tank is though - seems pretty random to me - put 44 litres in it after it had been beeping for ages on a 4 litre warning - yet the book says it has a 63litre tank.

Just enjoy! Mpg is for people with small minds smile

To answer the orginal question, usually 200 miles on my Tamora, 300 if I am not just blatting round the lanes.

On TVRCC forum, has been a thread on the Tamora pages about the actual size of the Tamora tank. Mine always says 54L when just filled, however, as someone has mentioned, the book says a tank size of 60 or 63 I think. Someone on the forum says they ran out of fuel, put 5L in, drove a few miles to a garage, then filled up with 58L. So whats right, is the gauge just wrong, or when the gauge drops to zero, is there atually another 10L in there??? As soon as anyone finds out let me know, because I certainly dont want to run out of fuel, so fill up as soon as possible after 10L left. I doubt the S6 likes having no fuel...

My Sag's display is always 53/54 litres after fully filling up.
I reckon i average around 200-220 miles per tank...A little bit better than my Rotary!

I have the same. Filled up on a 4l warning and squeezed £38 in. Extremely random, i'd say. I wonder if the car has a 'reserve' tank and thats where the 60 litre + claimed capacity is?
