also try Nowell&Richards, they do specialist Porsche insurance, they're usually either the best by a long way or the worst by a long way. Worth a try though. 01785 255 514
Nowell and Richards use Norwich Union as their underwriter, so my guess is a very similar quote, if not identical
JB you have only just started looking for a GT3 to your spec....consider the number on the road..
I would keep looking,I have looked for many months for specific rare porkers...If you buy a C2 aero you will always want a Gt3,,,sods law says the right car will appear shortly after your C2 purchase..With the latest model GT3 being delivered from now,to new owners,I think the chance of the right car coming your way in the next few months is better than anytime since the GT3 came out in '99...hang in there..

Appreciate the thougt CS, I am 24 tomorrow, and its a tradition of mine to get a new car every birthday and/or christmas.
If a GT3 comes up between now and next week, sure, i will grab it.. If it doesnt, well, I am an impulsive type, and I will just grab whatever takes my fancy (for me, this is amasing!, usually i dont even give it this much thought, i just drive to the nearest Dealer and pick the first thing i like !!)
The waiting list for the new GT3 is 17 mths so I am told now, I wanted an AMV8, but when I called my local AM Dealer, was basically told there was a waiting list FOR the Waiting list.. aah well

tbh, the GT3 would have come close to skinting me for the next month or two, whereas if I go the C2/4 Aero route, I get some 'spare playabout' money (man I am getting old!!! worrying about money!!)
Its not like I am buying the car I will keep for the rest of my life, my typical shelf life of a car is 6mths, the TVR lasted 18 ... So, buy a C2, 6 mths later hopefully grab a GT3, and wait the remaining 12 mths for MY Gt3 to be built.
Thnx for the advice tho, its what makes this place so nice
