Tyre and brake pad warning lights

I have recently had my tyres and brake pads changes at Motorway tyres which is a large tyre supplyer. The pads were not BMW so the warning light has stayed on. Also since getting the tyres changed the tyre warning light now comes on and an annoying beep when I start the car.
Anyone got any idea how these can be reset without paying a fortune at BMW?

There are brake pad wear sensors which should be fitted along with the pads - they aren't that expensive (from memory cost me about £10 per wheel - but it was sometime ago and my memory can fail me!!), but looks like whoever fitted your pads didn't bother to replace the sensors.

If I was you I'd go and get the sensors fitted.

If the light comes on, the sensor (1 front and 1 rear only) as appropriate needs to be replaced. Also, you need to allow a reset, so leave the ignition on for about 30 seconds once the sensor is replaced and it'll re-set.
