Hi,
I have a garmin nuvi - and use it in my truck. THe problem I have like many I suspect is weight limits, freight routes in some counties, bridges and width restrictions.

I was told that there was a site that did bridges and other useful stuff like lay-bys and truck stops. I have found www.hgvsolutions.com and I also found a site called www.tomtompoi.net , they look similar but when I went back to the tomtom one (which seems to do all sat-nav systems) I couldn't find it at that address. It seems to have merged - so I guess they are the same organisation ? I also went to on Yahoo www.low-bridges.net and again its the same poeple, is there anyone else with a decent system in this area ? I looke at the snooper but it seemed to be a lot of money for a system that does what my Nuvi and £20 disc from these poeple does. It didnt even have Fuel Card spots for HGV's on it.

Anyway - what I wanted to know is can I get the weight and width limits from anywhere ? I have the disc from the aforementioned, and for what it does its very good. I wrote to them and asked about weight and they said they were looking at it, we all know that could mean a long wait.

I have been looking at some of the free sites like www.garminfree.com but there seems to be just no weight or width around. Why is this market so poorly supported, surely we are a big enough group in UK and Europe to warrant systems ?
