Not meaning to sound like a skinflint but....

£65 + Vat for a throttle cable....is someone taking the ????

Does anyone know what car they come from or used an alternative or am i being a skinflint....???

If it's just the inner you need then try this. Been fine so far. I removed the ball end from the original cable and soldered it on to this (though that on the bike cable would have sufficed). No prob's. Worth keeping in the boot as an emergency item if you choose not to go this route anyway!

Or get Speedycables to make you one, it'll be half that price if its just the cable itself.

thats what i was thinking of doing...just getting a long inner and outer cable and making my own...cant see how anyone can justify that much...

seen long landrover ones that loook the same for £15...that might do the trick...
