Be interesting to see what you have bought your Monaro for - Daily drive (ie: only or main car) or as a toy sat in the garage most of the time.

IL start...

Definatly a daily drive toy. Clarkson said they were good, thats good enough reason to buy one for me. Also, you only live once - enjoy it while you can.

Daily driver... nothing better than driving to work... until you get there, and then you are looking forward to driving back home again..

Both! It's my only car, so used for the daily commute, often with "scenic routes" on the way home, and for weekend blasts It's perfect for the job too, like a comfortable pussycat round town, but always ready to be unleashed...

+1 on that. Except I alternate with the bike when I want to go proper fast!! (Or don't want to sit in traffic)..

+ another 1. One car to rule them all. Daily, weekly, monthly etc. Use all the time.

Daily driver and loving it. Two weeks to headers and poly engine mounts, then I get an even bigger smile.

Cheers

toy - why waste it sitting in 8 miles of traffic at 10mph as an everyday car. Got an Astra for the daily run.

Daily driver for the last 14 months, need to get a small wagon to do the winter running over here in Germany though as it was hairy enough getting to work this morning with -3oC frown

A bit of both really

I don't use it that much during the week as I work in Central London, would take twice as long to get there by car.

But @ the weekend it is a daily toy

I bought mine as a long legged cruiser as I have fallen in love with europe, it's the food, the wine and the dark haired women in Italy!

Got tired of driving an exotic out, and a fiat panda home, so bought the Monaro with it's agricultural V8, and have not regretted it, just come back from a 3,000 mile tour of europe. Drove as many mountain passes as possible just to hear the Wortec pipes reverberate off the rock faces! and for once I got to drive the same car home.

TOY, yes and what a TOY!!!!!!! I am loving it so much that I must up my estimate to the insurrance company on the yearly mileage!!!!
