Autosport's web site have a piece from Ron today about how he feels that the Internet is becoming a pain in the ass for him as so much shite is written and not even checked before being published.

Personally if I check a news based site online I will only ever use Autosport's one. The rest are in a war of words to get people to read them, just how the red tops try and get exclusive scoops of celebs which by and large are totally false. (I have a personal friend who works on one well-known red top, and she's never been afraid of being honest to me about what they do!!)

Ron talks about how the Internet is an instant spring-board for wild scoops which never really are and how peoples words are being falsely used and twisted, far worse than the red tops and it would appear that there is no regulation which makes it even worse.

Ron is not making excuses for what happened this season, but it is an interesting angle on these numerous sites across the net that claim to have the latest scoops and exclusive insider knowledge, and unfortunately, people like 5% read these sites and take everything as being correct and without judgment!

Forums like this allow for heated debate, but when some of those debates are being fanned by shite F1 news sites, you have to start questioning what is truth and what is fiction.

This is how you've been conditioned to be since you can crawl. All but the laziest, most stupid of us don't grow out of the evolutionary short-cut to survival (believing everything your parents tell you) by the time you're 10yo.

As long as the sh!te world humans created for ourselves exists, so will the stupid with a public voice.

And? Just like anywhere else the world over. Any half-grown human who believes everything you read or told is an idiot. You can take that as gospel. Anyone claiming to be half-intelligent forms their own balanced ideas by taking what others say with a pinch of salt.

People talk. Some with do it behind your back, some with do it to your face, some will do it on a website and some in a newspaper... People all have their own take on reality. The media/press/and news internet sites are just one (unelected) person's take on what they see, the only difference is they have a public voice.

To RD: What are you going to do about it? Fight them all? Fight all the people who replace those who you beat in a fight? Maybe you just want humans to stop being humans? Even more unrealistically; Stop humans being humans by just ASKING them?! Now who's talking BS?

Autosport have done the same in the past, was quite amusing, when the decision of the WMC meeting in Paris, Autosport ran the story of the outcome, before it was announced, only to be wrong, but n the mean time, numerous other sites ran the same story quoting from Autosport, hence proving the age old chinese whispers game, one site says someting, others read that and add to it.
