Hi everybody

I am looking for a specific sort of car and wondered if you can point me in the right direction.

I would prefer electric, but not slow electric LOL

Something with Rear wheel drive only as I would like a mini drift car so to speak.

Jap stuff or BMW's welcomed. Any ideas where to look and can I get a kit or do electric cars come already built?

Thanks Guys

If you want a drift car then check out the Yokomo range of proper drift set up 1:10th scale electrics. I have the Treuno AE86 and it's huge fun.

They are all 4wd (RWD is VERY hard to drift properly in small scale due to lack of weight) and you can learn simple proplonged drifts in no time at all. The trick is that they all come with very special tyres and have chassis setup instructions to give the right amount of camber and toe in to make it really controllable.

I bought it in kit form from a shop in Yorkshire....

They dont do the basic Treuno anymore, but mainly the full D1 cars. Under the skin they are all the same although the newer ones come with better drift ring tyres. Approx £150 for the kit plus £85 for the electrics etc (unless you've got those bits).
A bit more expensive than some others but if you want to drift this really is the easiest way due to the fact that it comes with the set up and tyres in the box.

Pretty easy build and goes like stink if you get grip, but mostly it goes very, very sideways.
