An unusual one. Cleaning the Chim and noticed a dead moth stuck to the inside of the headlight glass.cry
This is a pain as I took them all apart 2 years ago and cleaned the reflectors and the inside of the glass. ragebangheadgrumpyweeping
Obviously this moth has got in because TVR decided not to enclose the back of the lamps. So once I've dismantled it I shall be going to the scrappy to try & find a rubber boot to stop all the dirt and insects finding their way in.
Has anyone done this, anyone know what donor car to get one from please scratchchin

Maybe stikaflex some sort of clear plastic to the edge of the reflector, creating a flexible tube and then bonding this to the fibreglass 'rim' behind the lens?
That way when you seal the lens onto the car you should effectively have created a sealed tube between the lens and the reflector.
Once all the sealant has gone off you could paint it silver or something to that its not visible through the lens

I considered doing something like this when i was doing my headlights, but i never got round to it.

Thanks

Matt

cables ties and a plastic 'freezer bag' can be used to seal the assembley.

Only thing is you might get condensation issues if you seal the lens so it's airtight. Try putting a couple of silica gel bags in as well.
