Hi Guys, is there a common cause for the blower to stop working? and while we are at it, where the hell is the blower motor!? I see there is a control box for all of this, ive had this open and not really any wiser. Hot blower IS working ok. Cheers.

Ive not looked myself but I'm sure I've read here that the cold motor is in the passengers side footwell, behind the door hinges? It could be worth pulling the covers back and having a look, I'm sure the can get full of debris and stop working? Good luck.

On mine the hot air blower is in the passenger footwell, on the outside edge. The cold air blower and air con unit is in a similar position in the drivers footwell. Remove the panel next to the accelerator pedal and you should find it.

Both of these blow into a mixer box that sits somewhere behind where the stereo normally is. Large 'flap' valves are meant to open only when the blower is running, but as most will have discovered, wind pressure above a certain speed will open them too.

Hence warm air blowing around in the summer and cold in the winter. There is a mod which I've done to make the warm air side of things recirculating.

For the cold side, I've got a spongy rubber ball that I stuff into the air inlet just underneath the drivers side indicator at the front. Goes in in October, comes out, oh, mainly june with our weather smile
