Ok I am at the mercy of the moderators here and I do apologise in advance but I have found myself in an unusual position.

I run a girly discount scheme through a website where I negotiated a great 20% discount with a national gift experience supplier , which is great for the ladies to get money off spa weekends etc.. . .

However . . a side effect of this is that I have by default also got a 20% discount on driving experiences from karting to driving round silverstone in a Ferrari.

I actually feel it would be a shame if PH members didn't know about this as It is not something that I would publicise in the normal course of my girly site.

I just feel it would be kind of unfair if members here couldn't take advantage of it.

I fully understand if this thread is deleted

in the meantime details are in my profile.

This is how a 20% saving affects what you pay . . worthwhile I think you will agree . . .

Saw the Ferrari experience at silverstone when I did my ARDS course. I think you're only allowed to go 80-90ish in them, we kept getting held up in the exiges. Still, the grins on people's faces when they got out said it all.

PS If this counts as naming and shaming, Apologies and I'll delete it.

My first days track driving for a few years came as a result of one of these experience days (the PH charity one a few weekends back) and I thought it was great fun, but there seemed to be a lot of standing around and/or waiting for other peoples lap to finish. It made me think that doing continuous laps until you or the brakes started smoking in your own (less exotic!) track car would actually be more fun than 3 laps in a Ferrari or whatever if you're prepared to sink a bit of money into it and get regular use out of it.

Think the experience days are a great gift for someone who wants a taster. Having the instructors there is a big plus point too if they're a bit mental .....possibly less so if they're very cautious!

Thanks for feedback guys,
I guess it may be better posted in general gassing or motoring news as I suspected the offerings could be a bit tame for track day warriors.
Having said that I race karts myself and allthough that is a little more intense than normal driving I have yet to drive a Ferrari on track.
I have driven race prepared mazdas and ginettas on track though which were fun.

Its not just Ferraris there are loads of different driving experiences from rally cars to power boats bungee jumping and all sorts Its a national gift experience provider.
