I'm sure its been asked before, so someone must know the answer - where do I get clear front indicator lenses for my Cerby (old shape late 98 4.5). They must be nicked off a Ford or something. The side repeaters are very easy to find but I've been quoted silly money for a set of fronts..

well it looks like no other bugger is going to help, so I can give you the contact details if you want them, but at £160 plus VAT I'm not going to bother.

The best price I have on the side repeaters is £12 per pair including bulbs - these are the Ford items which require a slight modification. Someone told me that the Vauxhall items do not require any mods to your bodywork but I think they are a different shape - they are similar money. Thing is, I really wanted to change the fronts and I am a stingy git.

BJ what is it you are looking for? I like the new glass dome type indicator lights fitted to the last 100 run-out Griffiths but according to Clive at Zertec they won't fit. If you are just looking to fit clear plastic covers to replace the amberones I've seen this done many times so can't be too expensive? R...

I think they are ex-millatary ! Is it worth a phone call to the factory as they now fit them as standard to Cerbera/Tuscan & Chimaera ?

i think they are clear military land rover lenses (reverse). they have a lucas number on them and your lucas dealer should be able to get them.
hope this helps(sorry i dont know the number). also the clear side repeters are available from most accesories shops. you know? where the boy racers go!!
cheers, macky

Thanks Macky, I'll check it out. I wonder if they sell furry dice at those places?

Are the fronts easy to fit? Seem to remember someone saying it was a pig of a job...
