Hi all.

Just wandering if anyone knows of any Toyota forums? I have a MINI ONE D, but the car shares the same engine as the Toyota Yaris. (D-4D)

I'm keen to find out what (if any) mods those guys are doing to the engine...

Many thanks,

James.

ToyotaOwnersClub is a bit bare now ..

Head to http://yarisclubuk.com, as it's where all the knowlegable peeps seem to have gone.

What happened, did everyone move on (as I did a few years ago)?
It was a fun social group.

Personally, I was a "super moderator" and I didn't get any reward from the efforts I was putting in. People were bitchy and sniping at each other and I get bored as the enjoyment wasn't there. Too many kids trying to put 24" wheels on their Yaris and then throwing toys out the pram when told not to be so stupid.

I didn't have a Toyota anymore (it broke, and due to Toyota's shocking "sports" lineup now, I went and bought a Honda), I didn't go to any of their meets as I didn't like several of the "personalities" on there.

I setup my own forum for my mates to talk crap on, and became more active on one for the car I own.

Seems a few others felt the same and followed suit. Seems to be all in jokes and no technical knowledge now. Shame, as I met a lot of good friends, learned a lot, and enjoyed a few JAE's and Nurburgring trips.
