Any one up for meeting in Buxton one sunday, then going for a spin around some of the best roads.

I went last weekend in my Z3 M Coupe, it was awesome.

Drop me an email if interested

Did the Congleton to Buxton A54 route last week. About 9am on a weekday and not a single car in front of me for the whole route ... I guess 8 or 10 miles of driving road. Fantastic road and very challenging.

Best of all it was for business so my work were paying for the petrol... heaven !!

Great video, impossible to capture the scenery or all those negative cambers, but gives a real feel for what a good drive it is.

I guess it must have been a weekend morning judging by the number of bikers coming the other way?

it was a sunday morning and the original plan was too hit the cat and fiddle a few times which we did until about 100 cyclists decended on it so we turned onto the a54.

first time id really found that road hence why i wasnt that fast but what a road. drove all the way down without a single car too slow me down.

neil was in a primera gt and had smoke plooming from his brakes when we got too the bottom.

Alex, was it you I passed this afternoon just off the A515? A car just like yours.

On the A5012 near Pikehall, about 2.15. I was in the very shiny, very metallic blue, spanking new Fabia vRS. I think we clocked each other without any immediate recognition.
