Rev Counter Audi A3 TDi 2001

Hi there,

Was wondering if anybody could help me out. My rev counter has been playing up, sometimes working then not. When not it moves about all over the place not giving the true rpm. Sometimes when idling it does'nt register until I press the accelerator and even then it isn't correct. Has anybody else had the same problem? Is it a common fault and how can it be fixed? Maybe I could get the part and do it myself??

Any advice is most welcome.

Need a new dashpod and will need to be replaced at your dealers to code it to the immobilzer and code your keys.
