Hi Guys

Been working on my 4.5 V8, I had to change the alternator so decided to get the throttle bodies gas flowed, will do the heads at a later date, balanced the throttles up nicely got them running between 5.9 to 6.4 the engine idles so smooth without missing a beat!!!! Part throttle is amazing to. BALANCING THE THROTTLES IS WELL WORTH THE EFFORT

BUT

after driving the car for 10 mins part throttle is really bad, the car seems to loose power and u need to press the throttle a bit more to get it going, its like the adaptives are leaning out to much. idle revs also drop and eventually the car sometimes stalls!!!!!

The adaptives lean out to - 37.5% on most of the cells. on the fault screen it does say the lambda's are BAD

I know the last day i drove my car before i changed the alternator the problem was there, driving back from london to coventry.

I changed the o-rings on the inlet manifold gaskets so I have no leaks from there.

The Lambda voltage on idle does move up and down alittle from 0.5 to 0.7 volts but nothing like 0.1 to 0.9 volts like how its discribed else where.

Is it my lambdas which are faulty?

Has anyone disconnected there lambda's and just drove the car with std MBE ECU?

Regards

Sav
