S-Type R in the Superstars: Last race in Monza

Dear all,
I had the great opportunity to go to Monza last week-end to see the race in reality.
The Team gave me the possibility to access the cicuit, pit lane, pit wall, paddock.
It was great opportunity!!!

Sadly the champioship was already decided with Morbidelli (Audi RS4) and Alessi (BMW 550) winner of the Italian and international championship respectively.
Despite the difficulties and the big difference in budget vs Audi and BMW the Jaguar Dealer Team of the Ferlito Brothers still managed to have second and fifth place in the driver championship (with Balzan and Pigoli) both in the italian and intenational ranking and the second place in the Team championship

Now lets hope Jaguar will support the team next year since they have shown their capabilities (first in 2006 and second in 2007)

Thank you for your post. I hope they are go for the 2008 season. Maybe they will switch to the XF in time and really show Audi what the back of a Jaguar looks like.

Audi as well as BMW invested a lot of money this year in the championship.
Audi was there even with 4 cars etc. It was very difficult for the Ferlitomotors Jaguar Team to fight against them so it was great at least to be able to keep the second place

Yeah also as mine.

Here you can see my trying to go home with the S-Type of the team but I was soon spotted thanks to the growl of the cat!


I told them "come on the season is finished and next year you might have the XF so you can take my S-Type 2.7d which is even a "Sport" version ;-)) but sadly did not accept to change
