Hello,

We're not after one, my dad's mate is, he's been to see two, and tonight we went to see one with he which he though was 'pukka', but was quite frankly shite in many a way!

As i know their's a certain ammount of trust with well-known PHers and wondered if anyone off of here, well known or known are selling one for under the 20k mark.
Or does anyone know of any god ones they could vouch for, we don't want him to spend near to the 20k mark to have the engine go in 3 weeks time and find it's been crashed and on a Cat C.

Cheers blokes,
Dan

We're not aiming it on that mate. Bodywork and interior can be sorted out quite easily.

As long as it's a well looked after car, preferably had a rebuild etc?

Anything that needs the bodywork or the interior sorted at 4 year old has not been looked after. Again, if its been well looked after, it should not have needed a rebuild either.

Lots of people would argue that last point.

Buy on condition and ensure service history is full. Lots of Sh#te advsertised on PH as having full history when its obvious it's not.

If you can get something nice with a fresh engine at 20k well done.

Just out of interest, how much do you think it would cost to get that green interior completely re-trimmed in something more, er, tasteful?

Depends what you need changing etc, surely around the 500 mark.?

Cheers for the other comments guys. he text a minute ago and says he is going to wait till one comes along that's right for him, he doesn't care about colours etc even interiors.

I'm about to advertise our baby for sale, i disagree with the quote of..."20K don't expect something that looks like new or even close too it".Thats utter crap!!Our car is in brill condition,no engine problems, never broken down, and is a well sorted TVR right now.
Those on here that know Diane and I will vouch for the car,and that we have genuine reasons for selling her.
The car is an 03 midas gold T350c with 32k on the clock, with full TVR service history.for only £18500.Interested??? check out pics in my profile (reg number don't come with the car),

If you are willing to live without air con you will get more for your £20k. I recall that when I was looking at T350's all the cheaper priced ones were 'sans a/c' (whats with all the French on this post?)

What ever gents. If you think my statement is "utter crap", fine. We all seem to have different opinions on condition of cars.

On the engine front, I do not include a head gasket replacement in the rebuild category.
