Hmmmm...scratchchin

Oh yeah, the term 'organic' is generally used to describe the material that 99.9% of OEM clutch friction plates are made from ( you know, an asbestos type of lining although I doubt it is asbestos these days and is thus why the term 'organic' is used ), then you start to get into cerametallic, sintered and carbon plates but these are race type clutches and rarely conducive to road use as a result.

Nice spec. thumbup
I used to have a Z3M, vastly underrated.
I see you have been on the rollers so what power are you putting down with that spec?
You might want to check out the diff mounting onto the body. The Z3M diff only has one mounting point and the body floor can crack due to the torque. If you haven't already, then you probably want to consider strengthening it on the Z3M especially with an upgrade of power. You can get a twin mounting point case (E36 M3) for the diff and fabricate an extra mounting point.
I'm not trying to frighten you, most seem to be OK but at the very least you need to keep an eye on it especially with an upgraded car.

Mroad,
Thanks for the advice re diff mount! I am just waiting for a new lower ratio diff and yes will get that checked when having it fitted...
Well the car now is making a genuine 353bhp at 7900rpm. Goes well indeed considering it only has 22,000 miles and is still very tight. Did consider supercharging but i prefer a well/highly tuned normally aspirated engine, it really sings when you wind it up!
Supercharging i think detracts from the character of it....Personal preference i guess smile sorry to those of you super charger guys...

I would fit a full Carbon Airbox but i do not know anyway of getting the mapping done to suit, I think with the 284 cams, de cat etc an airbox would really sharpen it further?

Cheers
