For anyone not yet invited, here's a close inside look at the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes brand centre - the full illustrated story from The Paddock magazine:

If the team spent less time on bullshit marketing stunts like these erections in the pits and focussed more on making sure their drivers were not using tyres worn down to the bare-bone and keeping a closer look at company email logs, then McLaren might actually have something to shout about.

Just a childish my dick's bigger than your's game amoung team owners.

...and Ron wonders why the outside world still think their team is cold, corporate and unappraochable...

Wake up Mr Dennis and take a step back, me thinks I have the answer...

Just go and visit the HQ bulding....McLaren Technology Centre....talk about over the top and it has too many design faults to be truly stunning. More cash that creativity and more ego than Stalin.

Such as...?
I can't say that I noticed any obvious flaws. It seemed slightly over the top in terms of cleanliness, but not an unpleasant environment to work in, I thought.
Yeah it's such a duff design that it was one of the six shortlisted buildings for the RIBA design awards last year. What a piece of crap eh...

Well the simple fact is, if you want to take it down to brass tacs - nobody with a small dick is ever going to attract any possitive interest are they?

Back on topic, where the hell are they going to park that (the Brand Centre) next season? Surely they won't be allocated as much parking etc if they are down the end of the pit? Or will the space still be available?

Despite the what's been published about the punishment McLaren will face next season, I'd bet a sizable ammount of beer on the fact they have struck a deal with Bernie to ensure there is always enough space for the brand centre. Bernie loves his VIP's and VIP's love being pampered to with joints like that...

I did wonder too - but its not a huge footprint... 18M x 16M.

Or is it just actual pit space they are limited on and not space behind... and will they be right next to ProDrive - I'm sure they will do each other a few favours (or is it 'favours' that got McLaren in the mire this year?!)
