Since getting my T350 in March it's been back to the dealers several times, for amongst other things:

- Replacing both Water Sensors
- New Head Gasket
- Re-attach rear valance
- ECU repair
- Speedo Sensor replacement

This hasn't dampened my enthusiasm for the car rotate ... but my missus is fast loosing what little patience she had with it ... and when a fault with the drivers side window meant our long awaited shopping trip had to be aborted on Sunday (at first I couldn't get out, then the window went right up and I couldn't close the door) I was really struggling to justify continued ownership!! boxedin

Another trip to the dealers, and a further 3 hours spent making fine adjustments (thanks Henley Heritage for working 'til 9 in the evening to get the finish perfect smile) and it's back in A1 condition.

Got a long(ish) round trip from Reading to Macclesfield this weekend, just keeping my fingers crossed there's no more 'incidents' otherwise i'm gonna get more than just the cold shoulder and silent treatment!!! argue

Please keep your fingers crossed for me biggrin

Hopefully you've ironed out all the bugs and now she'll be trouble free.

Just out of interest how many miles have you done?

I brought mine about March time done about 2K miles and (touch wood) it has been great, no dealer trips.

In the 7+ months i've had it ... about 1,500 miles boxedin ...

... I would love to use it more but can't use it for work (no parking, not for minions anyway) so it's become a bit of a garage queen, only making rare weekend outings unfortunately.

Similar mileage to me then I hope you get it sorted...

Most of these issues sound to me like original ones that first owner didn't get checked/sorted thoroughly, as they generally need.

IMO likely to be fine once these done, keep chin up! smile

These niggles can be a pain in the neck but I know people who have bought Mercs, Porsches and AM's where the car has been back and forth to the garage with faults. It is not just TVR's that have the odd hiccup! It seems to be luck of the draw as you here of many owners having trouble free motoring. What year build was your T350 out of interest? There is a school of thought that the latest cars had slipped in build quality.

It's a 2003 car .. I think the majority of the problems (which are mostly 'niggles' and not at all uncommon) have just developed because the car is under-used... I went into ownership with my eyes wide open and expected a few trips to the dealers, unfortunately the missus isn't quite so patient / understanding!! rolleyes

I must have the dream other half! She see's it as part of the ownership experience. Certianly mine does not spend much time the dealer other than for servicing or voluntary work, ie after a hike round scandinavia I wanted it checcked.

Mine is no more tempremental than any other csr i own, and i have had bmw's and audi's that spent more time being fixed.
