Air-flow Chambers
Discussion
I am thinking of buying one of these, has anyone got one or know of anyone who has used one?

Does anyone know how good they are? Are they worth purchasing?
As always any help/advice will be appreciated

I've been considering on of the three on the market.
Air Chamber - Lets you drive in and out - regular use
Carcoon - A bubble for less regular use - could be a pain on day to day basis
Permabag - Long term storage
Try looking at classic car web sites they seem to have revues about them. Can't recommend one though.
I like the idea of Air Chamber but with the permabag dehumidifying packs in.
Sorry I can't be more help

I am doing some research on all the different ones out there. I'll let you know which one I am going to go for. I've been considering on of the three on the market.

i have had a carcoon for 3 years and store a 360 in there. i can happily go and open the carcoon up and take the car out in 5minutes.. and put it back together with the car in, in 10minutes, they are trouble free should you have a problem carcoon will take your cover back from you and replace it for free anytime as long as you have the receipt go for a carcoon!

MikeInterested that you don't find it takes too long to get the car in and out. How does the cover base handle being driven over on a regular basis?
I had a carcoon for 3 years for my 911 and to be honest it was a pain. Lifting the cover off and on without risking scratching the car with the heavy duty pvc or zip was always a worry and getting the zip undone in my 5.5m x 5.5m double garage required yoga lessons and on most occasions resulted in me being covered in dust/dirt
I rigged up a 7'x6' jig from 2"x1" on pulleys as I have a high garage ceiling so I could just unzip lift and drive off to prevent this and try to make things easier, but found myself just jumping in the other car to save the hassle so it had to go
The money I got for it on fleabay paid for a Cair-o-port. Far flimsier and less well made than the Carcoon but so much easier to use. Just unzip the back, disconnect the battery conditioner and you're away
Just need another now for the 355 arriving next week
