S3 Xenons pointing at the stars !!

Wonder if anyone can help. My 2001 S3's Xenon headlamps used to sort of self level the beam height when switching the lights on. After a recent visit to the main dealer for other electrical work (i.e battery must have been off) the lamps now point way too high and don't seem to attempt the levelling procedure I'm getting flashed at something rotten!

Before I take it back to the main dealer (it's under warranty - Yahoo!) - Is there a reset procedure for the lamps, maybe like the reset you have to do on some electric windows ???

Might save me a day without the car and a 40 mile round trip !

I believe that the Xenons on the S3 are leveled by 2 control boxes one, on the N/S front wishbone and one on the N/S rear wishbone. The plastic arms which attach to some drop links are prone to breaking.
