I would like to change my hood and have the roof panel recovered as they are starting to look some what shabby yes

Thing is i would like to change the colour to a dark burgundy type colour to match my cars colour ( see profile )

Can anyone recommend a company who can do this and any other relevant information such as potential cost etc.

Many thanks in advance thumbup

Have you tried David Hammerton? His advertising on ebay clicky
although they are black ones I think he said he would be able to do them in other colours.

I put one of his roofs on my Griffith its on TGP they are real good.

Hi Simon yes i have looked at that but it seems he does black or blue only and you have to DIY.

I posted this in general goss in the hope that some ex factory people may have an idea of a firm that may be able to help me smile

these are the peeps you are looking for mate.

seen a couple done by them, excellent job (they fitted both) and were VERY reasonable. Its around £1k for a factory sourced hood, but these guys come in around £500 fitted i believe.
anyway...and excellent roff which is more important.

give them a shout.

Pasco , cant find it now, but I am sure I saw a pic on a hood supply site that was our very own Precats' car.

Maybe give Anthony a mail and see if he had a new one and where.

One more:

Mine's got a burgundy hood by AJS Trimming (advertises in Sprint). He makes the hood from scratch and double stitches the rear window. £500 drive-in, drive-out. The advantage of burgundy is that the inside of the hood is black, matching the carbon look of the targa panel.

Why dont you buy one of Davids and get a local trimmer to fit. It wouldnt take that long. I reckon 2 days to strip clean old glue of and reattach.
