Need a new badge for the rear of my Chim and as its now a 5.3 has anyone out there got any ideas where I may get one made up. I've contacted a couple of badge makers who would want a minimum order of 100 ! Could just go with a refurbished 500 but would be nice to have it matching whats under the bonnet ! 500'S' would be a lovely prospect which I just can't get out of my mind at the moment..... pennies permissing biggrin

Draw it up in Autocad and take it along to a CNC milling shop! They should be able to machine it from that. smile

OK, basically you need to

1) draw up what you want the badge to look like.

2) Get it drawn up (by someone) in electronic format AutoCad, Turbocad etc.
a Ph'er may be able to help!

3) When you have got it drawn up in electronic format, You need to contact and engineering company that can undertake CNC (Computer Numeric Control) milling.

When they have inputted into their milling machine it will be able to replicate your drawing in a material of your choice.

Hope that makes sense. smile

Fantastic Al, All is clear now ( I think). I'll give the design some thought and hope someone on here may be able to help with the practicalities.
