What mod? You need to expand a little......

Hello Jules.

Previously - two "Green" filters + Austec map. Now original induction pipes + I'd like to try the original map, that is assuming the Austec map is still the one on the car, which I would think it is as it was only done three years ago. That's all I need to know really - just where does one get it reverted smile

Colin,

The map shouldn't be too disimilar to the original, but if they have mapped it for optimum performance then it could prove to be not as effective with the standard set-up back in place. When an MBE map is written it is usually burned onto another chip and the chip is replaced, so maybe the original chip is still about? Might be worth giving Austec a call if the original work was done there, at the least the car just needs its current map checking and then may require very minor adjustment.

Failing that give Joolz at Track Car Solutions a call and he'll sort you reference an original chip.

Jules.

Thanks alot Jules. I shall follow that up. Just would like to see if I can get a smoother run through 1st and 2nd gears. Rather jerky at the moment. There's also the usual pops and bangs and occasionally a nice loud one when I just start her up from still after a run - presumably this would indicate some kind of remap. Any way thanks again and I'll look into that. thumbup
