Blue 964 RSR in Shepherds Bush!!
Discussion
Ahh now you have opened a real can of worms with the 964RSR.
Coz I'll bet ya a pint it wasnt a real RSR.
Not saying it definatly wasnt one, I mean there were somat like 100 or so of 'em made, but I'll wager it was something else badged up- possibly a 3.8RS which are almost as rare. (I'm assuming this was a widebody car you saw not a reguar width one like a 'normal' 964RS)
I've also seen a couple of RS clubsports badged up as RSR's (and a lot of people call 'em that)

Chris forgive my drunken ramble last evening it sounded like I was questioning your judgement there, which was not my aim.
Its just the whole RSR thing gets a bit confusing on 993's and 964's some books & references do not agree.
I dunno what others like Melv etc think but as far as I know the only RSR 964s are the race only (wide body- like 3.8RS's or turbos) 3.8 beasts that pumped out something like 380bhp in un restricted race form.
Ive seen RS Lightweight Clubsports & 3.8RS's advertised & badged as RSR's (particually in Germany) and a few articles on them described as such, but as far as I know its not the correct designation- I'm happy to be corrected though.

You cheeky pair, well as long as it has RSR in the carpet it must have been a real one then, (I mean fully stripped racecars always have carpet in afer all...) just like the 964 C4 I drove a while back must have been an RS coz he had a full set of RS carpets put in
Anyway I really dont want PH to ever ever ever end up in a Rennlist type dull anal retentive discussion on the merits of 911 jiggle pins or what ever, so lets just say I'm right and Domster & Scotster are always wrong and leave it at that
