On the basis that a Tamora owner and their money are easily parted on a rainy day I have been looking at.....

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pipercross-air-filter-TVR-Tu...

I have seen these for sale in TVR parts shops so guess there is a limit to how far wrong you can go, does anyone have any better suggestions?

And a bit more serious....

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TVR-TAMORA-GAZ-COIL-OVER-SUS...

Two issues concern me here, the drop in ride height and the fact that the ones for a Vauxhall Astra cost more. At the moment I very rarely encounter a speed hump that can not be conquered and would quite like it to stay that way.

I am sure new suspension would do the handling a serious favour but don't really want to spend thousands, any alternative suggestions gratefully received and any idea of labour time for fitting.

Cheers

(O/T) Mark, has your Tamora had a nose job? Your profile says its a '51' car, but the picture shows the car with the 'facelift' front?

Nose job and T350 hredlights. Was the subject of a minor prang before I got it. I only cog it coz it unique as far as I know.

I have the gAz shocks fitted and have had no problems yet with speed humps but I am quite aware which ones to avoid!
I have never driven a tamora standard so don't know the difference in handling....seems good though!
