Rear Fog Lamp!

Testing all my lights before the MOT and had this:

Dipped headlights on, turn on rear fogs all OK.

Put on Main Beam, Fog warning light on the dash goes out rear fog lamp off, turn off main beam, rear fogs come back on.

Is this TADS or is something wrong?

All cars do that. If you can use main beam then there is no fog so no rear fog light needs to be on.

you live & learn, can't say I've ever noticed it on my repmobiles but then again can't say i ever looked!

I checked my Vectra & the wife's Citroen and neither of them did this is it specific to TVR?

Not all cars do this but lots do. If memory serves the R8 Rovers (box shaped 200's and 400's do this.

Agree with previous comments, quite a few cars do this, but not all.
